Yes, We Do Care!!

Yes, We Do Care!!

Today I am going to talk about social security services of India. India is upholding the right to social security. They do care about old people, for them the government has pension scheme. When we think about disabled people there is disability benefits for them. One more thing, there is some benefits for a person, who is traveling or being with a disabled person (of course there are some conditions applied). It proves they do care about disabled people. Sometimes people can not work due to sickness or maternity so for them there is sickness or maternity coverage. There are many more coverages like coverage for dependents, coverage for injury during work and many more.
I know, you will definitely think oh,my god so nice India is a perfect country!!! But the irony is even though we have all policies and schemes hardly any people get that benefit. There are so many reasons for that: the first and most important reason is most of the people they are not aware of these benefits and government does not care about that. The government just lets things go The second reason is some people apply for that policies but they didn't get approved. The reason is all documentation is so complicated they neither understand the confusing official language nor they able to complete that documentation. Third and very important reason sometimes some people make the fake documents and get these benefits actually they misuse the benefits and real people who really need all these things they just live as it is.

I feel really sad for that, so even though technically India is upholding the human right is really not. In my opinion for better world rather than making piles of documentation or just showing "Yes, We do care", regarding social security benefits and policies we have to make sure that the people who really suffering are getting those benefits or not. We have to aware the people regarding that to make difference.

Social Care Is Necessary to Everybody

"Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control. Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection." It is one of the Universal Human Rights. In my opinion, it's the most important one: if you live lonely, how to enjoy your life?
Every person on the earth has human rights, no matter who you are. I think the right to get social services are really important, because human beings are social animals. We live and die with others' companion, it's hard to live alone. Loneliness is deadly poison. We need others' observing to define ourselves. As lives, we hope we can live in a safe environment, avoid death, sickness. So we share the rights to get help from the members of our society. Then we won't be hopeless in anywhere. When everyone know the significance of this human right, I believe the society will be filled with hope, equality, and liberty.
The further civilization goes, the more important social care will be.

Do we really know?

                                     Do we really know?

Illiteracy of human right's knowledge is alarming. Lack of knowledge makes us unnecessarily accuse someone or most of the time, we just prefer to ignore the power of the right. Do we really know, what's the right to social security means? After introspection, I found out that my thoughts on this topic are not clear at all. So I researched and thought of sharing it with you.
There is universal declaration of human rights. According to it, "Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control. Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection."
Social security is the universal human right. There are some people who are unable to work due to sickness, physical injury, maternity, old age, unemployment etc. Social security system provides insurance program for them and this is our right as a citizen we should get those benefits.
There are several countries who follow the right to social security. They make sure whether their citizens are receiving affordable housing, education and medicine or not. Each and every country has it's own criteria to give that benefits. So as a citizen it is our responsibility to understand the human right.
