Every person on the
earth has human rights, no matter who you are. I think the right to get social
services are really important, because human beings are social animals. We live
and die with others' companion, it's hard to live alone. Loneliness is deadly
poison. We need others' observing to define ourselves. As lives, we hope we can
live in a safe environment, avoid death, sickness. So we share the rights to
get help from the members of our society. Then we won't be hopeless in
anywhere. When everyone know the significance of this human right, I believe
the society will be filled with hope, equality, and liberty.
The further
civilization goes, the more important social care will be.
It is true all we need clothing, housing, medical care, etc. Many people think that is more important other human right than social care. But if you don’t have a shelter, health, education you could be not human. A person with no education is a person, who does not have her or his own opinion. A person with not health cannot work or do anything because her or his sickness. The governments have to provide equivalent social care, but for example my country has lack of it. We have lack in everything because our government does not care people…
ReplyDeleteGreat points, Hang -- we are all social creatures who truly thrive when we are with others. I believe that social services extend beyond financial support and into human contact.
ReplyDeleteIf you have ever visited an elderly person in a nursing home here in the US, you will find that although they are given food, shelter, and medical care, the thing they crave the most is companionship.
You are right -- all members of society should do their share!
I agree with your point that people on the world have the right to social security, no matter where are you from , who are you. We should share this right with everyone. It is good news with people who live in some countries still do not have good social services for children, elderly, homeless, etc.
